We are coming up on the holiday season. The restaurant always books up completely for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners. So if you're a regular patron and you want to include us in your holiday plans, please make your reservation early!
Once again this year we planning a special Thanksgiving menu: A choice of Turkey, Ham or Salmon Dinner, complete with everything, all at one fixed price. And to keep that Thanksgiving Tradition, every patron will receive a Turkey Sandwich to take home, so no one need feel they are missing out on the "leftovers."

This is my work group's favorite place for lunch.
There are so many items here that exceed expectations.
The fresh-baked bread is exceptional.
The soups are always amazing. My personal favorite is the corn soup but they are all excellent.
And the desserts... quite possibly the best in San Diego.
Friendly service, top-notch food, reasonable prices -- if you enjoy good food, then don't miss out on House on the Hill -- it's the best restaurant in Poway and worth the trip from anywhere in San Diego.

You have created a wonderful oasis for good food, good wine and good conversation. Something Poway didn't have before now! We really can't say enough good things about the food and the service. And the summer jazz music on Wednesdays is a treat.

Went to your wonderful restaurant for a b-day party. It was by far the best restaurant party I have ever been to! The food was the best, the service was top notch and the entertainment was great. What a fabulous experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We went for the first time last night and I do not think I have ever felt so comfortable in a "fine dinning" place as we did.
The food was "wow" all I can say. Fresh, light, melted in our mouths. I have never had a crab cake in my life. I did last night and I am hooked. We had the best time and I think now I have found my favorite place to go. One of those places you keep seeing as you drive down Poway Rd. and always say "I really want to try that place out". Well, do it and I promise you will not be dissapointed. And Debra, our hostess was so adorable, funny and very just to sweet. Thanks for a wonderful time. Will be back, maybe this weekend!!
